Our client required a comprehensive electrical reconfiguration to accommodate a new office layout. The project involved modifications to the existing power distribution, lighting systems, and additional installations to support the revised workspace design.

Our Approach

• Removal of Existing Floor Boxes & Busbar Tap-Offs
  
  The existing floor boxes and associated busbar tap-offs were carefully removed to align with the new office layout.

• Reconfiguration of Small Power Distribution

  • Existing small power was relocated to suit the updated floor plan.
  • Underfloor busbar grommets and tap-offs were utilized to minimize disruption and optimize efficiency.

• Lighting Upgrade & Commissioning

  • The existing lighting system was replaced with Dextra lighting, using the existing LCMs (Lighting Control Modules) and wiring infrastructure.
  • The new lighting was commissioned in collaboration with Simmtronic, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

• Installation of Additional RCD-Protected Cleaner’s Sockets

  • Additional RCD-protected cleaner’s sockets were installed by utilizing the existing circuits, enhancing accessibility and compliance with safety standards.

• Installation of Client-Supplied Pendant Lights

  • The project concluded with the installation of new pendant lighting fixtures provided by the client, enhancing the aesthetic and functional aspects of the workspace.

The Solution

The project was completed efficiently with minimal disruption to the client’s operations. By utilizing existing infrastructure where possible, we optimized costs while ensuring a smooth transition to the new layout. The upgraded lighting and reconfigured power distribution enhanced both functionality and safety, providing a more efficient and adaptable workspace.
