The Brief
To carry out full electrical installation and lighting supply on Paul Hollywoods very first KNEAD store, a brand new coffee and bakery concept located in London's, Euston train station. The store has been designed with all occasions in mind with an open plan kitchen, indoor seating, mobile charging points and access to the stations free wifi.
Our Approach
This is the first store for a new concept opening within a very busy rail station. To ensure a smooth delivery and to meet the client's brief and vision, our teams worked closely with all parties involved to interpret the brief and Euston Station's stringent operating policies.
The Solution
It was imperative to understand Euston Station's strict access and health and safety policies before work commenced on this brand new concept bakery. All correct permits were gained and a concise plan for methods of entering and receiving deliveries was formulated to ensure that a smooth delivery could take place. Our team carried out full electrical installation throughout including data and fire alarms. We also supplied and installed all track and perimeter lighting and installed the bespoke bread tin lighting scheme. As with all projects carried out in busy transport hubs, our teams had to work around limited access and within close proximity of travellers and staff with the minimal amount of disruption. The end result is a busy and vibrant bakery which enhances the retail offer that is growing within Euston and encouraging more footfall through to shop, meet and eat.
The 79group carried out full MEP installation on this challenging project. This is the first project I have had that has passed Building Control first time - well done team!! Regus Express T2
