The Hall, Intu Lakeside
With seven kitchens, a coffee shop, pop-up areas for food trucks and two bars championing British-made beers, spirits and soft drinks, this vibrant and diverse space is the antithesis to the largely anonymous restaurant experiences typically found in large retail centres.
The Brief
This project is a new social concept dining option and the first out of town offering from Market Halls. We thrive on taking on new concepts and challenges so were excited to be awarded the electrical and lighting package.
Our Approach
With seven kitchens, a coffee shop, pop-up areas for food trucks and two bars championing British-made beers, spirits and soft drinks our electrical design team collaborated with the client to design an efficient electrical scheme to make this diverse space come to life.
The Solution
The team were excited to be involved with this unique dining experience cover 14,500 square foot of Intu Lakeside to become The Hall. It was a robust programme of just 6 weeks for such a large area and within this time we manufactured and installed;
- 10 x 4m LED dimmable extrusions,
- 28 pendants dotted throughout the hall
- festoon lighting.
We carried out full electrical installation including CAT 6 data cabling to feed the till points to all 6 kitchens and 3 bar areas.
