The Brief
To carry out full electrical installation of the new Topshop Topman store in Dublin. 79 Group were awarded this project by the Arcadia Group in conjunction with the main contractor to install specialist lighting system in order to deliver an essential element of the shopping experience for the brand.
Our Approach
Accustomed to regularly delivering projects of this kind within a retail environment, this challenging brief saw the team balance the specific requirements of the client, alongside a new contractor, within tight programme deadlines. In addition, there were logistical demands of a store located in Ireland combined with local council and Irish building regulations which brought another layer of complexity.
The Solution
Collaboration and communication led to the success of this project. Developing strong, open relationships with both the client and the contracting team ensured the smooth delivery of this store. Our engineers expertly installed a specialist lighting system, fire alarms and data. Irish regulations differ to the UK and we were able to provide support to the client in understanding and overcoming these.
Following on from PC on Thursday I would like to place on record my gratitude for the work carried out by 79 Group at BT Tahiti. The standard of work carried out was extremely high and the attitude of your employees on site was exemplary. Special credit should go to Leo, Chris and Jacob for their professionalism during some difficult times due to constant specification changes.
